I got my Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University. My research lies mainly in parallel methods for PDE-constrained optimization and recurrent neural networks. I was also co-organizer of an applied math reading group.
I am a Senior Software Engineer on the Optimization Toolbox team at MathWorks. My recent work includes modular architecture for ADMM-based algorithms, C/C++ code generation for optimization solvers, and algorithm enhancements for linear, quadratic, conic, and nonlinear optimization.
During my personal time, I enjoy cooking and photography. The photos used on this website are my own, except for the avatar.
